Companies and universities from Hong Kong have partnered with the Government of Hong Kong to offer the following opportunities. Please follow the links for further information on eligibility requirements and application procedures.

Scholarships

Program Name	Details
Hinrich Foundation APEC Global Trade Scholarship	The Hinrich Foundation partners with Hong Kong Baptist University to offer a scholarship of 212,290 HKD to one (1) student in HKBU's International Journalism MA program. Applicants must be enrolled in the program and come from Cambodia, Myanmar, or Vietnam.
HKC-APEC Scholarship	The Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region offers scholarships to undergraduate and post-graduate students of 80,000 HKD per year. The Government also offers scholarships for sub-degree (associate degree or higher diploma) students of 20,000 to 30,000 HKD per year. HKC-APEC Scholarships are available for students from any APEC economy except Hong Kong.
The University of Hong Kong HKU-APEC Study Abroad Scholarship and HKU-APEC Undergraduate Scholarship	The University of Hong Kong offers one (1) study abroad scholarship equivalent to the cost of full tuition and accommodation in a university residence hall, and economy airfare to students in APEC economies whose family income is less than 1,000 USD per month. HKU also offers up to one (1) full-time degree full tuition scholarship and two (2) full-time degree half-tuition scholarships, renewable each year of study on condition of meeting minimum GPA requirements. HKU may also add the amount equivalent to the minimum economy airfare for students whose family income is less than 1,000 USD per month.
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University APEC Entry Scholarship	The Hong Kong Polytechnic University offers scholarships covering half tuition or full tuition and partial expenses to undergraduate students from all APEC economies excluding the People's Republic of China and Hong Kong.
PCCW APEC Scholarship	PCCW Limited offers one (1) scholarship to students from APEC economies (candidates from China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam preferred). Applicants should be interested in media, information and communications technology, and/or consumer marketing.

Internships

Jardine APEC Internship	Jardine Matheson Limited offers one (1) internship to undergraduates. The successful applicant will receive an all-in allowance at the rate of 30 HKD per hour during the internship. Please see company profiles in the link at left.
Marco Polo Hotels' APEC Internship Program	Marco Polo Hotels offers up to six (6) internship opportunities to undergraduates to work in customer service capacities at one of six hotel locations throughout Hong Kong and China. The internships pay 245-640 USD per month depending on hotel location.
PCCW APEC Internship	PCCW Limited offers five (5) internships to students from APEC economies (candidates from China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam preferred). Internships pay a stipend of 2,000 USD each, and interns may apply for a 10,000 USD scholarship based on their performance as interns. Applicants should be interested in media, information and communications technology, and/or consumer marketing.
